There are a number of area’s you need to identify when buying properties. Make sure you do your research before buying, as you don’t want to end next to a major highway in the next 3 – 6 years. Here are some tips:
- Have a look at the “ripple effect” when trying to find the right suburb to buy in. Higher priced surrounding suburbs will eventually flow into these other suburbs.
- Talk to council to know what businesses are coming into an area that you want to buy in. Businesses bring in employees and growth
- Find out what infrastructure is being built in and around the area.
- Look for trends – demographics, vacancy rates, yields.
