De-clutter and save

The banks today want you to be in continued debt, that is how they make money! When it comes to “saving for a rainy day” we don’t actually think much about it as it is now replaced by instantaneous spending on a credit card or redrawing our mortgage to obtain the new car, pay for school fees, or have that nice holiday. Try to get out of this habit. If you have a redraw arrangement replace it with a 100% mortgage offset account, if you have credit card debt pay these off as soon as you can, and if you do want that nice holiday save by reducing your other expenditure – mortgage rates, insurances, electricity bills etc etc.
